华语乐坛桂冠诗人吴青峰，创作不间断，一首首无边际音乐惊喜，一场场无国界灵感宴席，从北欧、美国，到英国：与挪威小天后欧若拉的〈Storm〉中英文版、与美国创作翘楚Rufus Wainwright的〈A Wanderer In The Sleeping City〉，以及与英国独立乐团传奇Cocteau Twins灵魂人物Robin Guthrie合作的〈哥伦布的蛋〉；在这个夏天，将几首歌集结成一张全新数位EP—《牧神的午后》。
EP里，尚有一首先前未曝光作品：〈哥伦布的蛋〉。〈哥伦布的蛋〉由吴青峰作词，孪生卡度 Cocteau Twins的罗宾·格斯理（Robin Guthrie）共同谱曲，并由Robin制作整首作品。以Robin拿手的dream pop编曲感，将哥伦布的探险故事，对比在创作者自身，创作是探险、也是出口。哥伦布身处的环境，也许像颗蛋，而他是一只孵化的小鸡，不知道外头世界的样貌，却拼命冲破蛋壳，终于看到了那片新大陆。我们，也常常经历像是探险般的生活，就算喘不过气，试着往蛋壳撞，至少，也踏出自己的步伐；套句青峰的话：「有时候答案，总是那些被嘲笑愚蠢的人找到的呢。」
《牧神的午后》名称源自于法国诗人马拉美的诗作，从这首作品开始，影响了各种不同灵感，像是舞蹈、画作、音乐、剧作家……等，最知名的便是德布西的《牧神的午后前奏曲》。用此诗作之名当作EP名称，仿佛说着，青峰与这些国际乐坛翘楚们的合作，如同一场美好的梦；从一个创作源起，激发了他和更多人的合作与聚会，不论是录音室的交流、或是线上的视讯会议，线下的邮件讯息，这些创作人用创作、歌声，互道彼此对音乐的爱，在这场午后的音乐沙龙，从对方的音乐里，获得了更多的力量；希望听者们听到这几位创作人用心交流、创作的歌曲，也能感受如梦境般的美好气息。
*罗宾·格斯理（Robin Guthrie），苏格兰创作歌手、音乐人、制作人，2022 The Ivors Visionary Award得主；最为人知的，Robin主创了独立乐团Cocteau Twins（译：「极地双子星」或「孪生卡度」），此乐团可说是独立乐团界的教母，音乐类型包括了黑潮、后庞、Ambient，以及Dream-pop，深深影响现今的国际乐坛众多歌手，像是Bjork、Garbage、John Grant、Massive Attack、Radiohead、Sigur Ros、The Weeknd，以及王菲。
